The Mindful Health Foundation is an outpatient group counseling practice with specialties in treating eating and addictive disorders through a multidisciplinary approach. Therapeutic counseling, nutrition counseling, group counseling, family therapy, body image and movement therapy are integrated to restore health, establish clarity of mind, and develop life skills.
Recent statistics estimate that ten million women and girls world wide have eating disorders and up to one million will die from their disorder. This makes the mortality rate for eating disorders higher than any other psychiatric disorder, including depression.
