Day Treatment
The Mindful Health Foundation’s Day Treatment Program is appropriate for patients preparing to re-enter daily activities such as work or school and who benefit from practicing social skills and coping strategies in a safe environment.
Patients admitted to the Day Treatment Program must be medically stable and experience moderately impaired functioning due to a substance abuse disorder, eating disorder, and co-occurring conditions. Patients that are appropriate for this program don’t need to be in a residential or inpatient program but require treatment that’s more structured than an Intensive Outpatient Program.
Emphasis on Community
The Mindful Health Foundation’s community of healing includes other patients on their own recovery journeys. This communal healing environment provides a deeper level of support that enhances the treatment experience. Patients learn to reduce isolation and engage in a supportive community. The therapeutic community emphasizes teamwork and growth and takes on added importance after re-entry into life. The Mindful Health Foundation’s treatment facility feels less like a treatment center than a comfortable family setting, so patients can feel supported while working together to achieve their own goals for lasting recovery.
Participants are supported in a nutritious lunch, snack & dinner with the assistance and support of a Registered Dietitian.
