The Mindful Health Foundation offers outpatient services including individual psychotherapy, group therapy, psychiatric services, body image therapy, art therapy, nutritional counseling by a Registered dietitian, career counseling, and family therapy. Patients are seen at least once a week in an individual session and other services are added as needed, up to six service hours per week. Unfortunately, many insurers have rigid rules on the frequency of attendance. Our office will attempt to keep you informed of any limitations of coverage, but it is always best to check with your insurance plan.
Our psychotherapists are well-versed in evidence- based practices and receive special training in behavior therapy, client centered cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma- informed therapy, social skills training, art and experiential therapy, internal family systems model and family therapy. We are equipped to provide specialized treatment for eating disorders, personality disorders such as borderline personality disorder, and substance abuse disorders as well as co-occurring mental health issues.
